S.B.S. (Stuffing box Sealant) is a universal packing material which provides the efficient seal required for stuffing boxes of pumps, autoclaves, agitators and any other equipment involving the use of rotating or reciprocating shafts.

S.B.S. is a flexible compound containing fluorocarbons which is produced in bulk form (putty type). It can be molded into virtually any shape braids, tresses or seals are no longer required. It is anti-corrosive and anti-foulant, and will not dry out or shrink.

Because of low friction, energy consumption is substantially reduced. It eliminates torque problems. S.B.S. is completely leak proof. Small additions from time to time may be required. S.B.S. cannot e destroyed by scored shafts and works well on them without further damage.
